I wanted to try a Pineapple quilt pattern. This was my first attempt. I love how it turned out. The browns are fabrics left over from other projects. The pinkish color is from a stack or cutting remnants from a shirt factory that a relative worked in. I love the jagged edges that the pattern creates.
If only I had dozens of guest bedrooms I'd just keep them all. But a fun hobby like quilting takes an ever evolving stash. I hope someone sees the same simple, elegant beauty in this quilt that I saw evolve when making it.
To ensure the best workmanship in my quilts, I do the machine piecing and “long arm” quilting myself. I will not list a quilt I would not proudly display in my own home. I will add a sleeve for wall hanging if requested.
